Score your program in Musicianship, Growth, Community Support, and School & Administration Support so you can see where attention is needed most.

4. Sort your priorities with the Band Director Priority Matrix
Decide what needs action now, what should be scheduled, what can be delegated, and what can wait.
5. Turn your priorities into focused goals
Create goals that are specific enough to guide decisions, rehearsals, communication, and program growth.
6. Build a Summer Action Plan
Use summer strategically so August does not begin with the same stress, clutter, and last-minute decisions.
7. Map the first 30 days of next year
